Muskat Devine is pleased to announce that attorneys from the firm have been recognized in The Best Lawyers in America, The Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch and Lawdragon.
Partners Mike Muskat and Corey E. Devine have been named to the 2024 list of The Best Lawyers in America, the oldest and most respected peer-review publication in the legal profession.
Mr. Muskat, who was recognized for his work in labor and employment law, is known for his 25 years of expertise in employment litigation and counseling matters. Board certified in labor and employment law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization, he regularly represents employers in federal and state courts. This is his fourth year to be on the Best Lawyers listing.
Mr. Devine was honored for his expertise in employment law for management. Board certified in labor and employment law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization, he is widely sought after for his experience representing employers during retaliation trials, OSHA complaints and appeals. This is also his third year to be recognized by Best Lawyers.
Best Lawyers recognitions are compiled based on Best Lawyers’ exhaustive peer review evaluation. For the 2024 edition, more than 13.7 million votes were analyzed and 76,000 leading lawyers honored.

In addition, Muskat Devine associate Mariah Berry was recognized by Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch for her work in labor and employment litigation. The list recognizes lawyers who have been practicing law for five to nine years.
It is Ms. Berry’s second honor in as many months. She was also recently named to Lawdragon 500 X – The Next Generation, which recognizes lawyers early in their careers who have vast accomplishments in their fields. Recognized for her work in labor and employment litigation, Ms. Berry’s work includes counseling employers on their obligations under state and federal laws and litigating employment-related matters for the firm’s clients.
